Definition of jit

 

JIT - Just-in-Time ou Justo no Tempo. É a operacionalização da "filosofia japonesa" de produção, que significa atender ao cliente interno ou externo no exato momento de sua necessidade, com as quantidades necessárias para a operação / produção. Nas indústrias, a tendência é que sistemas de comércio eletrônico sejam conectados a softwares de ERP para que se possa viabilizar a fabricação JIT em função de pedidos oriundos da Internet.
