Definition of rodotrilho

 

Rodotrilho - é um equipamento de transporte que faz o transporte bi-modal, podendo trafegar tanto em rodovias quanto em ferrovias. É um equipamento que otimiza custos, evitando o transbordo de cargas e reduzindo o tempo de operação de transporte. O Rodotrilho tem capacidade de engate nas carretas convencionais e pode ser acoplado em composições ferroviárias, com capacidade de transporte de 30 toneladas e, dependendo das condições da ferrovia, pode formar composições com até 50 equipamentos dessa natureza, o que possibilita operações porta-a-porta a custos mais baixos.
